Lorenca u Firenci odustalo se od projekta . O obimu priprema govori i podatak da je\u00a0 bio izgra\u0111en deo\u00a0 puta\u00a0 do kamenoloma . Smatra se da se Medi\u010di i Mikelan\u0111elo nisu slo\u017eili oko izbora mermera i\u00a0 kamenoloma i da je to skriveni razlog za nedovr\u0161avanje projekta .
